The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of administrative and legal aspects of the inspection of goods and commercial vehicles at the initiative of law enforcement agencies, substantiation of the specifics of the procedure of interaction between law enforcement and customs authorities in ensuring legality in the field of customs. The state of scientific development of the problem of inspection of goods and commercial vehicles at the initiative of law enforcement agencies is marked. Approaches to the identification of the essence of the inspection of goods and commercial vehicles by determining it through the prism of different legal categories are outlined. The regulatory frameworks of inspection of goods and commercial vehicles at the initiative of law enforcement agencies are described. The levels of interaction between law enforcement and customs authorities during the inspection of goods and commercial vehicles are established.
