Essay

In the dissertation the model of the formation of the managerial competence of the future software engineers in the process of the study of the professional disciplines has been grounded and developed theoretically in the higher education institutions in the unity of the target, the substantial, the organizational-procedural and the criterion-effective blocks, which provides the result such as the improvement of the managerial competence of the future software engineers and it is realized on the basis of the certain pedagogical conditions (the coordination of the forms, the methods and the ways of the educational-cognitive activities of the future software engineers with the purpose of the formation of the managerial competence, the introduction of the interactive methods and the informative-communicative ways of the teaching, the coordination of the content of the obligatory and the elective disciplines with the purpose of the interconnected formation of all components of the managerial competence, the use in the educational process of the best examples of the management activities of the managers and the examples of the management of IT structures). The essence and the structure of the managerial competence of the future software engineers, which consists of the motivational-target, the operational-activity, the cognitive and the organizational-communicative components have been grounded scientifically. The content of the formation of the managerial competence of the future software engineers has been developed and introduced in the process of the professional preparation, which consists of the obligatory and the variable components at the 1st (bachelor's) and the 2nd (master's) levels of the higher education and it covers the educational-methodical complexes, the distance courses and the automated educational-control complexes from the professional disciplines, for the study of which the Agile-methodologies (the extreme programming, Scrum, Kanban) and the informative-communicative ways (web-resources for the grouping work, the environment of the management of the program project, the software ways of the management of the task and the time, the cloud services) have been used. The experimental check of the model of the formation of the managerial competence of the future software engineers in the process of the study of the professional disciplines has been carried out with the use of the criteria (motivational, activity, cognitive, organizational, reflective), the indicators and the levels (low, medium, high) of the formation of the managerial competence of the future software engineers. The analysis and the generalization of the results of the pedagogical experiment as for the determination of the effectiveness of the proposed model which have been carried out on the basis of the dynamics of the formation of the managerial competence and they have been tested with Fisher (φ) and Pearson (χ2) criteria, they have certified statistically significant difference in the experimental group. The received results of the experiment reveal that the level of the formation of the managerial competence has changed positively in the students of the experimental group, compared with the students of the control group.
