Kravtsova M. Administrative and legal support of religious relations in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the administrative-legal regulation of religious legal relations in Ukraine. The phenomenon of religion in the narrow and wide sense is revealed. Religion in the narrow sense is a special system of worldview and worldview of an individual person or group of people, a set of cultural, spiritual and moral values that determine human behavior. Understanding religion in the broad sense is a combination of beliefs, customs, rites, rules of life and behavior of people in society. The regulatory, normative, legitimizing, integrating, communicative and ideological functions of religion are characterized, the main purpose of which is to fulfill the role of a powerful compensator for spiritual and social failures in the sociocultural evolution of mankind. The legal nature of religious legal relations, which are a variety of public relations protected by the state, is established, arises, changes and ceases on the basis of state (secular) and church (religious) law, the participants of which are represented by the state, faiths (religious organizations) and citizens (believers), endowed with mutual subjective rights and legal obligations in the religious sphere
