Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of an actual scientific and technical task: enhancement of the NPP operation safety by improving the methodological basis for the calculational substantiation of the VVER-1000 reactor support components (RSC) safe operation through improvement of methods for the computational determination of the forces acting on RSC from the connected main circulation pipelines and pipelines of the emergency cooling system. The analysis of documentation for computational justifications of RSC safe operation, which are presented in the design documents, international scientific publications and in the reports on RSC lifetime extension at the Ukrainian NPPs, has been carried out to ensure compliance with the current regulatory requirements and the correctness of the applied initial conditions.
