The model of the economic mechanism of the industrial enterprise which considers preconditions and principles of its reforming is structured; the essence of the polysemous concept «economic and ecological safety of an industrial enterprise» is defined. The conceptual approach to the formation of the adaptive mechanism of management of economic and ecological safety of metallurgical enterprises in the context of national and regional state policy is substantiated and the conceptual model of adaptive management of economic and ecological safety is offered and its integral components are substantiated. Monitoring of economic and environmental safety of MMC enterprises of Ukraine in the world economic space was carried out; research and indicator assessment of economic and ecological safety of metallurgical enterprises of the Eastern region of Ukraine in the context of state regulation and preservation of national interests was performed. The structural-functional model of the adaptive mechanism of management of the economic and ecological safety of the metallurgical enterprises is constructed and an application toolkit of regulation of a legislative and normative-legal base of development of the metallurgical enterprises in the direction of the economic-ecological safety is developed. The organizational-financial, normative-legal bases of formation of the adaptive compensatory mechanism of collecting and administration of the «utilization fee» as an applied component of economic and ecological safety of the metallurgical enterprise are substantiated; the scientific and methodical approach of adaptation of internal and external environment of the metallurgical enterprise to modern requirements of managing is substantiated.
