Baba I. Management of the safety activity of insurance companies in Ukraine

Object of research: security activities of insurance companies. Purpose: to deepen the scientific and theoretical foundations and develop methodological tools for managing the security activities of insurance companies. Methods: analysis and synthesis, functional, process and system, system and comparative analysis, generalization and systematization, economic and statistical, formalization, indicativeness and integrated evaluation, graphic visualization. Novelty: for the first time a scientific and methodological approach to the organization of crisis management of insurance companies was developed, which is a necessary condition for successful operation and provides disclosure of classification and stages of crisis management, development of crisis management strategy for insurance companies; theoretical and methodological approach to the analysis of the essence of the concept of "security activities of insurance companies", classification of threats to insurance companies (in relation to human activities; place of origin; degree of openness to the insurance company; consequences for the insurance company; predictability; objects of influence on activity), methodological provisions for assessing the level of economic security of insurance companies in Ukraine, theoretical and applied principles of forming a system to combat insurance fraud are improved. Scope: in the activities of the Khmelnytsky regional department of PJSC "UPSK" during the testing and assessment of the security level of the insurance company, PJSC «Insurance Company "Euroins Ukraine» – used the main conceptual approaches to managing the security activities of the insurance company, in the educational process of the Lviv University of Business and Law and scientific work of the Research Institute of Free Economic Relations of the Lviv University of Business and Law.
