The dissertation is devoted to the improving the efficiency of prediction of the aortic valve (AV) calcification course on the basis of studying of gender features of a disease, a structural and functional state of heart and a metabolic status of patients. Based on the conducted open cohort screening study and comparative study, gender and age peculiarities of the AV calcification and the calcification-induced aortic stenosis (AS) prevalence were defined, features of the association of AV calcification with hypertension and coronary artery disease were identified, gender peculiarities of valves and myocardium damage in the presence of AV calcification were revealed, and factors associated with the presence of AS and heart conduction disorders in patients with AV calcification were identified.
