Essay

The object of research – stability of slopes of artificial soil constructions and natural slopes; goal – development of a method of taking into account the spatial effect in static calculations of the stability of slopes of soil structures; methods – analytical and numerical methods of research of behavior of soil slopes in two-dimensional statement of a problem, taking into account their spatial features. Methods of optimal planning of experiments with the use of multifactor mathematical modeling of spatial factors that affect the stability of soil structures are used; results – identified factors (which were not previously taken into account) that affect the results of calculating the stability of homogeneous soil structures on two-dimensional schemes by engineering methods; developed a method for calculating the stability of slopes of soil structures in a two-dimensional problem statement, which takes into account their spatial features and can significantly reduce the labor resources required to create and calculate three-dimensional models; introduced – the developed method was used to perform a working project of engineering protection of the slope in the Greek (Moon) Park within the boundaries of the streets: Military Descent, Primorsky Boulevard, st. Primorskaya, Potemkin Stairs of Odessa; in the performance of retaining structures in the area of new construction of an administrative building, auxiliary structures and infrastructure for recreation, recreational and health purposes at the address: Odessa, 13 st. V. Fontanu (resort area "Resort"); in Section 9 and Annex H of the draft DBN B.2.4-20:2014 “Dams made of soil materials. Substantive provisions"; in sections 9 and 11 of DBN B.2.1-10: 2018 "Foundations and foundations of buildings and structures. Substantive provisions".
