The dissertation is one of the first comprehensive studies dedicated to the administrative, legal and organizational aspects of joint investigation teams during the international cooperation in criminal matters. The study examines existing interpretations of the concept of a joint investigation team and provides the definition of a joint investigation team. Based on the results of the study, a number of conclusions have been drawn that can be used in practical work on the establishment and operation of joint investigation teams during international cooperation in criminal proceedings to conduct joint investigations of cross-border crimes.
