Essay

The object of research - the process of extinguishing the heights of standing waves, as well as waves that are destroyed by the structures of enclosing hydraulic structures of incomplete vertical profile; the purpose - development of theoretical bases and creation of practical methods of definition of size of extinguishing of standing waves and the collapsing waves, designs of enclosing hydraulic engineering constructions of an incomplete vertical profile; methods - researches are carried out with wide use of methods of optimum planning of experiments and application of multifactor mathematical modeling of properties of damping of waves by designs of enclosing constructions of an incomplete vertical profile, at overflow of waves through the top structure of enclosing constructions on the protected water area. Experimental laboratory studies were conducted on physical models of structures of enclosing structures of incomplete vertical profile, a laboratory installation, which was designed to determine the magnitude of wave damping. For specialized, experimental and laboratory research, as well as processing of the obtained results, both specialized and applied programs on a computer were used. Processing of empirical data was carried out by proven methods of mathematical statistics; results – new methods have been developed to determine the values of extinguishing standing waves, as well as collapsing waves, structures of enclosing hydraulic structures of incomplete vertical profile, when the waves overflow through the upper structures in the protected waters; implemented - the results of the dissertation work were used in the calculations and design of a number of objects: calculation substantiation and design of structures of hydraulic structures for protection against flooding by sea waves of the plant at the address: Odessa, st. Black Sea Cossacks, 72; estimated substantiation of the new construction of a yacht club with a rescue station, places for recreation, sports and catering, located at: Odessa, French Boulevard 1/5; the results of research were used in the educational process of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
