Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of models, methods and information technology (IT) for the automation of technical diagnostics of artillery barrels by the level of wear based on the analysis and classification of acoustic fields of shots. This is made possible by analyzing the acoustic signals of ballistic and muzzle waves generated during a shot from the barrel. The analysis of existing technologies for automated diagnostics of the artillery barrel channel is carried out, and the conclusion about their advantages and disadvantages is made. Models and methods of acoustic signal processing for identification of artillery system shots have been developed. Mathematical models have been developed, which are the basis of information technology for technical diagnostics of the barrel channel. An IT and automated system for technical diagnostics of the artillery barrel channel by acoustic firing fields has been developed.
