The dissertation assesses theoretical and methodological provisions of crisis management of domestic market enterprises in the confectionery industry, based on the utilisation of innovative tools of cost-oriented management and controlling. The interpretations of the terms "crisis management", "controlling as a management function", "controlling in the crisis management system", "controlling crisis management" are updated based on the different contents such as: degree of the impact of internal and external factors on the enterprise, the need to use intellectual capital to develop and adopt management decisions, shifting the emphasis on preventive dynamic crisis management, the ability to assess the effectiveness of enterprise management.
