Demchyshyna V. Administrative and legal principles of smplementing the immigration policy in Ukraine in terms of European Integration

The author of the dissertation has provided theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem, which is to clarify the essence and specific features of administrative and legal principles for implementing the immigration policy of Ukraine in terms of European integration. As a result of the conducted research, the author has substantiated a number of new scientific provisions and conclusions aimed at improving the administrative legislation, the norms of which determine the legal principles for implementing the immigration policy in our country. Historical and legal analysis of the formation and development of immigration policy of the European Union has been carried out. Conceptual approaches to define the nature and content of the EU immigration policy have been developed. The author has revealed the process of formation and has evaluated the current state of legal regulation of migration relations between Ukraine and the European Union. The author has provided characteristic of normative and legal regulation for implementing the migration policy in Ukraine and has established the place of administrative law norms there. The state of regulation of legal and illegal migration in the European Union has been assessed. Forms and methods of implementing the immigration policy of Ukraine in terms of European integration have been outlined. International experience of administrative and legal regulation for the formation and implementation of immigration policy has been summarized; and the possibilities of its application in Ukraine have been studied. The author has clarified the problems of legal regulation of interaction between Ukraine and the European Union Member States in the field of migration are clarified and has established the directions of their overcoming.
