Makarenko M. Administrative and legal methods of the National Police’s activity of Ukraine in the conditions of European integration

The author pays a particular attention to the study of the concept and characteristics of law enforcement agencies, as well as to the determining among them the place of the National Police considering the European integration processes in the country. The author clarifies the essence and peculiarities of administrative and legal methods of activity of the National Police and investigates their classification. The current state of legal regulation of the implementation of administrative and legal methods in the activities of the National Police of Ukraine is characterized in the research. The content and features of application of imperative and recommendatory methods are determined. Besides, the author defines features of realization of organizational and legal methods in modern activity of police. The place and special significance of economic methods are specified, stimulating, educational, and also other additional administrative and legal methods of activity of National police of Ukraine are characterized, as well as other additional administrative and legal methods of activity of the National Police of Ukraine are determined in the dissertation. The author studies the possibility of implementation the foreign experience in the application of administrative and legal methods in police activities in Ukraine. The directions of improvement of the national legislation are allocated. This legislation regulates the administrative and legal methods of the National Police of Ukraine. Besides, the author proposes methods for improving the organizational framework for the implementation of administrative and legal methods in the activities of the National Police of Ukraine.
