The dissertation is devoted to the design of the vacuum waste disposal system of a modern aircraft, which describes the step - by - step process and methods of system development, development of mathematical models, calculation complex. A method of designing a waste disposal system is proposed, which allows to perform a step-by-step development of the system from the creation of the concept, its initial data, to implementation on the aircraft. The method of calculation and the calculation complex which covers all calculations necessary for designing and recommends step-by-step execution of calculations depending on a stage of the project are offered. A mathematical model has been developed that describes quasi-stationary hydraulic processes of waste flow in the pipeline of the aircraft waste disposal system, which determines the geometric and gas-dynamic characteristics of the pipeline. Using Ansys CFX software, a study of the processes of vacuuming and filling the waste storage tank, which is part of the calculation of the waste tank. Based on the results of numerical studies, the minimum allowable value of the air gap thickness between the waste surface and the tank for different tank diameters, at which the concentration of waste in the vacuum line will not exceed the critical values.
