Essay

Methods of mathematical modeling of processes of loss of stability in multicomponent semiconductor systems are developed, which, in contrast to the existing ones, allow to obtain quantitative information about the location of coexistence spaces of phases of different orders. Effective use of differential topological approach for prediction of critical phenomena in multicomponent semiconductor solid solutions, spinodal decay and research of processes of loss of thermodynamic stability of different types is offered, which allowed to display spaces of phase coexistence at intersections of phase diagrams of solid components. A mathematical model of spinodal decay with the formation of concentration domains in solid solutions was developed, which made it possible to calculate ordering parameters and prove the fact of the composition modulation effect as a consequence of the resonant state in the oscillatory process of mixing energy and elastic deformation energy.
