The dissertation is devoted to the conceptualization and analysis of the administrative and legal mechanism of ensuring the rights of the patient of a psychiatric institution in Ukraine. Deficiencies, gaps and problems of administrative and legal regulation of ensuring the rights of patients of a psychiatric institution are identified, proposals for their solution are formulated, in particular, taking into account the positive foreign experience.
