Essay

The dissertation studies a stylization of the Hutsul folklore as a composer’s method of authentic music elements transformation and rethinking in music art. The author considered a stylization as a genre of national ensemble, orkestra-instrumental and vokal-instrumental performing art in Ukraine. Also the author analyzes definitions of concept «style» with related art categories such as direction, current, aesthetic situation. Aesthetic-style direction folklorism combines style-forming, structural and compositional factors. The folklorism affects to the style characteristics of national composer’s art. Artistic and aesthetic symbiosis of individual and general national ways in a folklore stylization opened the new possibilities for semantic and interpretation diversification in composing style. The Hutsul stylistic features and Kolomyyka’s genre are unique artistical code in the national music language. The Hutsul folk dance genres combined with melodic and rhytmic contours, color of instrumental timbres became basis of famous composer’s music, such as V. Barvinskyj, N. Nyzhankivskyj, M. Kolessa, A. Kos-Anatolskyj, M. Skoryk, J.Stankovych, L. Kolodub, B. Filts, O. Kozarenko and others. According to the Secession style the concept of national category was fundamental factors in semantic context of Ukrainian music in XX century.
