Pyliuta M. Statistical analysis of the balance of foreign trade of Ukraine

The object of the study is foreign trade in goods and services in Ukraine. The subject of the research is methodological principles, methodical provisions of statistical study of the balance of foreign trade and directions of improvement of its methods. Scientific novelty of the obtained results. The most significant results of the study, which contain elements of scientific novelty and indicate the personal contribution of the author, are as follows: first:  systematically analyzed the discrepancies between the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the customs of the contracting countries on exports / imports of goods using decile coefficients by the method of mirror statistics .; improved:  conceptual apparatus that forms the semantic field of foreign trade statistics;  typology of factors that determine the processes of formation of the volume and structure of foreign trade in goods and services in Ukraine;  methodical approaches to statistical assessment of the impact of key factors on the effectiveness of foreign economic activity;  methodical approaches to establishing systematic and effective interaction, on the one hand, between state statistical and customs bodies, and on the other - between business entities engaged in foreign economic activity;  methodical approaches to statistical assessment of seasonality, as well as comparisons of data on export-import operations; received further development:  system of statistical indicators used in the process of analysis of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods and services;  areas for improving the functioning and institutional structure of the customs service;  a set of scientifically sound and interconnected administrative and practical measures;  system of scientifically substantiated and interconnected integration measures.
