Kutsevolova M. State regulation of the labor market in the segment of small and medium business

In the dissertation the scientific task as to substantiation of theoretical and scientific-methodical positions and development of practical recommendations on the state regulation of the labor market in the segment of small and medium business is solved. Based on a combination of systemic, dialectical, functional, institutional and synergetic approaches, the category in terms of content of the "labor market" concept is investigated. Six stages of labor market development were identified and profiles of each of them were constructed, that has confirmed the labor market evolution. The need to reform the labor market and improve its state regulation has been identified. The methodological approach of Ukrainian labor market condition evaluation has been improved by an integrated indicator calculation using nine combined ones, which characterizes the labor market parameters that are obtained by the harmonic mean. The closeness of the relationship between the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the quality of life of the population and the socio-economic level development of the country was established. World and domestic experience of self-employment was generalized. The positive effect of its influence on the development of the national economy was revealed.
