Essay

In the work the data on diagnostic efficiency of the methods of instrumental topical diagnostics at a hyperparathyroidism are received. The algorithm of preoperative examination of patients with PHPT and SHPT has been modified due to the introduction of computed tomography with intravenous contrast enhancement. Correlations between the size of parathyroid adenomas and laboratory parameters in case of PHPT have been identified. Predictors of persistence and recurrence of PHPT and SHPT have been determined. A modified computed tomography protocol with contrast enhancement has been developed for the simultaneous diagnosis of parathyroid and adrenal glands pathology in patients with PHPT.
