Fediai N. Development of Seaports of Ukraine in the Conditions of European Economic Integration

Research Subject Matter: development of sea ports of Ukraine in the conditions of European economic integration. Research Objective: elaborating theoretical approaches and grounding the methodology underlying SPU development in the conditions of European economic integration. Research methods and apparatus: historical, abstract-logical, structural-logical, systematization, classification and generalization, economic-statistical, economic modeling, comparative analysis, strategic analysis, economic forecasting, SWOT-analysis, graphic and cartographic. Theoretical and practical results: a formalized model of economic component inputs is hereby developed to assess the effectiveness of the strategic governance mechanism for seaports of Ukraine development in the conditions of European integration and proposals are hereby rationalized to address methodological shortcomings in the Strategy for Ukraine’s Sea Ports Development up to 2038. Novelty: A methodological approach is hereby elaborated for the establishment of the the strategic governance mechanism for seaports of Ukraine development as regards its performance assessment by way of mathematic description of the external environment - the economic component of the European integration processes that involve the sea ports of Ukraine, and the internal environment - determining the quality of governance for the sea ports of Ukraine. Eextent of implementation: the research findings are implemented into the practice of concluding strategic governance documents circulating in central and local authorities. Industry (sector) of application: the economics of national economy management in the transport sector, strategic management
