Essay

The thesis is devoted to further development of theoretical positions, development of methodical and practical recommendations on stimulation of development of the consumer market by influence on social and economic factors. The analysis of the current state and development of the consumer market and socioeconomic characteristics of the population of Ukraine is carried out. Unstable slow dynamics of consumer market development due to the low level of income of the population, increase of relative and absolute poverty, high level of import dependence of consumer demand was revealed. A scientific and methodical approach is formed to determining the impact of socioeconomic factors on the development of the consumer market of Ukraine, which takes into account indicators of food and demographic security, inequality and the structure of income and consumption. The positive impact of income and food security on life expectancy has been proven. Due to the application of factor analysis it is shown that material well-being, demographic development and stratification of the population are the main factors in the development of the consumer market of Ukraine. The stabilizing and stimulating role of the middle class and the inhibitory limiting effect of poverty and inequality on the development of the consumer market are substantiated. A hierarchical structure of the concepts of "level" and "quality" of life of the population with the allocation of normative, objective and subjective components is proposed, which allows to determine the influence of social norms on the formation of consumption patterns and dynamics of consumer market development. A methodical approach to the stratification of the middle class has been developed, which takes into account the peculiarities of middle class consumption and allows to identify ways to 20 eliminate the deformation of the consumer market in terms of providing universal and expanded needs of economically active population. Defined the role of the system of state social standards and guarantees, also the functions of the subsistence minimum for the main social and demographic groups to ensure the standard of living and the development of the consumer market sector in terms of providing basic needs. A comparative study was conducted and the advantages, disadvantages and contradictions of the normative and legal provision of the living standards of the population in Ukraine and Poland were revealed. Scientific and methodical support for the formation of social standards has been developed as a means of stabilizing the consumer market, which provides for the delimitation of the population on the basis of economic activity and employment. It is shown that the introduction of such an approach helps to reduce differentiation, increase the purchasing power of the employed population and prevent dependent types of behavior. It is proposed to improve the mechanism of state stimulation of consumer market development through differentiated introduction of new social living standards of the population of Ukraine in the formation of the consumer basket, assessment of the actual subsistence minimum and application of family standards to prevent poverty.
