Pelekh M. Administrative and legal principles of administrative coercion by the National Police of Ukraine

In the dissertation the complex research of administrative and legal bases of realization of administrative coercion by bodies of National police of Ukraine is carried out. In order to achieve the goal of scientific research, the author clarified the legal role of administrative coercion as a method of administrative and legal influence in the activities of public authorities and defined the concepts and signs of administrative coercion in the activities of the National Police of Ukraine. The characteristic features of administrative coercion carried out by authorized persons and subdivisions of the National Police and which distinguish the specified activity from similar activity of other state authorities are singled out. A big part of the work is devoted to clarifying the special legal issues of the selected items, namely the characteristics of the administrative and legal regulation of certain measures of administrative coercion by the National Police of Ukraine. The author clarifies and defines the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the chosen field of research, provides special legal definitions of key categories and concepts in the field of administrative coercion by the National Police of Ukraine. The study is aimed at identifying problems of legal regulation in the field of administrative coercion by the National Police of Ukraine and finding ways to improve the effectiveness of such measures. The general problems of legal regulation in the field of application of measures of administrative coercion by the bodies of the National Police of Ukraine are singled out. The solution of this goal was also facilitated by the disclosure of the experience of foreign countries in the application of measures of administrative coercion and outlining the possibilities of its application in Ukraine.
