Essay

In the dissertation work two classes of monitoring data collection methods from wireless sensor networks (WSN) by telecommunication air platforms (TA) in the absence of public telecommunication infrastructure were further developed. The obtained results are a solution of the scientific and applied problem of increasing the efficiency of the monitoring data collection process from WSN by TA. The paper presents an improved method of direct collection of monitoring data from wireless sensor network nodes with their clustering by telecommunication air platforms. The difference between the advanced method, which determines its novelty, is: the usage of two cluster analysis algorithms Formal Element and k-means for the implementation of virtual clustering of the network by TA; a new trajectory-positional model of data exchange between TA and cluster nodes. The paper improves the method of data collection from the main nodes of network clusters due to a new approach to network clustering (proposed a new set of metrics for selecting main nodes, rules for finding energy efficient cluster structures and metrics for building routes in the cluster).
