Mirkovets V. Ensuring the right to liberty and security of person in the application of criminal proceedings

The thesis contains a number of theoretical provisions and conclusions regarding the right to liberty and personal integrity in the application of measures of ensuring criminal proceedings, taking into account the state of scientific development of relevant issues in various fields of legal science, international, national law, ECtHR practice, national law enforcement practice. In particular: the concept of the right to liberty and personal inviolability in the application of measures of ensuring criminal proceedings is defined, the mechanism of its provision, the conditions of lawful restriction, the features of prosecutorial supervision and judicial control over the relevant area are revealed.
