Present thesis is devoted to the study of amplitude fiber-optic temperature sensors with sensitive elements based on crystalline semiconductors, chalcogenide glasses and films based on them. The technological features of obtaining high optical quality sensitive elements for fiber-optic temperature sensors by different methods from different semiconductor materials. The transmission spectra of doped GaP and GaAs crystals, glasses of the As-Se and sensitive elements based on them in the wide temperature range from 240 K to 450 K were experimentally investigated in the region of the absorption edge; temperature sensitivity of the sensitive elements for different operating wavelengths. Theoretically, the mathematical relation for describing the optical absorption coefficient of As-Se glasses as a function of the temperature and energy of photons for the region of the absorption edge is explicitly obtained. This ratio significantly simplifies the theoretical analysis, calculation and optimization of operational parameters of fiber-optic temperature sensors. Experimental studies of the transmission characteristic were performed with the help of the created model of fiber-optic thermometer.
