Kvitka O. Formation of Universal Cultural Competence of Students of the Humanities in University Educational Environment

The thesis is aimed at investigating the problem of forming universal cultural competence of students of the humanities in university educational environment. The didactic potential of humanities disciplines with the aim to form the universal cultural competence of students of humanities in the educational environment of the university is revealed; organizational and didactic conditions of forming universal cultural competence of students of humanities as the basis for modeling the process under investigation are identified and defined; the structural-functional model of forming the studied phenomenon is developed and theoretically substantiated. The indicators for forming universal cultural competence of students of the humanities are specified and described. The program of research and experimental work is developed; the set of methods for diagnosing the level of manifestation of the studied phenomenon is singled out and applied; experimental testing of effectiveness of structural-functional model of forming universal cultural competence of students of the humanities in the educational environment of university on the basis of creating appropriate organizational and didactic conditions is provided; using modern methods of mathematical statistics the truth of the hypothesis on the effectiveness of the developed model implementation into the educational process of higher education establishments is confirmed.
