Chmyrova L. Sustainable development of road transport in the national economy

The process of functioning of road transport in the national economy on the basis of sustainable development. Theoretical and methodological substantiation and development of practical recommendations for ensuring the sustainable development of road transport in the national economy. Deduction and induction, historical, comparative analysis, economic and statistical, expert assessments, analytical and synergetic approaches, graphical, tabular, logical, systematization, classification and generalization, strategic analysis, SWOT analysis. A methodological approach to the study of sustainable development of road transport in the national economy is proposed and proposals for improving the financial support of the road infrastructure, the introduction of digital transformations in transport, the development of electric vehicles in Ukraine and the formation of a system of indicators of assessment of the sustainable development of road transport are reasoned. A conceptual approach to ensuring the sustainable development of road transport at the sectoral level has been developed, which includes the definition of a system of strategic goals for the sustainable development of road transport; formulation of the main tasks and definition of the basic tools of maintenance of sustainable development of road transport; improving the system of indicators of assessment of the sustainable development of road transport. The results of the study are implemented in the practice of concluding strategic documents to ensure the sustainable development of road transport in the work of the central authorities of Ukraine.
