Somak O. Economic analysis of mining and quarrying enterprises

The current state of development of the extractive industry is substantiated, as a result of which it is established that the state of this industry has deteriorated and the set of reasons and directions for overcoming them has been determined, namely: development of a program to attract investors; increasing the efficiency of domestic mining engineering; establishment of preferential long-term railway tariffs for transportation of raw materials; increasing the prestige of the profession, wages in the extractive industries and the level of training in higher education. This determines the areas in which the system of economic analysis should be developed from the standpoint of assessing the investment attractiveness of both the individual entity and the industry as a whole. The theoretical provisions of economic analysis of mining and quarrying enterprises have been improved in part: development of the classification of natural resources for management and economic analysis; identification of objects of accounting and economic analysis at each stage of nature management. This allowed identifying the properties of economic activity of enterprises for the extraction of minerals and quarry development as a basis for the formation of methods of economic analysis.
