Kukharchuk K. Clinical and еpidemiological features of cardiovascular pathology in young people with subclinical hypothyroidism

According to the epidemiological studies, there is a tendency for an increase in the number of patients with hypothyroidism in Ukraine, both as a whole and for the first time revealed. The risk of hypothyroidism in the presence of SCHand antibodies to the thyroid gland increases by 4% per year, and in the presence of one of the factors - by 2-3%. The clinical picture of the disease in patients without initial lesions of cardiovascular pathology and in patients with cardiosclerosis differs, which significantly complicates the timely diagnosis of SCH. According to the results of a study using a prognostic formalized model, it was found that at the level of primary care cardiovascular pathology in young people with subclinical hypothyroidism in-depth medical examination once every 3 months will increase their efficiency to 17%. Targeted measures of primary preventive medical care to reduce the risk of cardiovascular pathology in young people with subclinical hypothyroidism have been established and substantiated. According to the results of the study, an individual risk of cardiovascular pathology was found among patients with subclinical hypothyroidism and among patients with autoimmune thyroiditis in the stage of euthyroidism. functioning with limited social contacts and role functioning, which is due to emotional state with limited performance of daily work.
