Bondarenko O. Features of diagnosis and treatment of infectious complications of implantation of metallic foreign bodies of the auricle

The dissertation is devoted to the study of features of diagnostics and treatment of infectious complications of implantation of metal foreign bodies. The paper substantiates the practical solution of the actual task – on the basis of the results of studies of the peculiarities of the microbiocenosis of the skin of the auricle, to develop methods to increase the efficiency of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infectious complications after implantation of metallic foreign bodies of the auricle. The structure of nosological forms of complications is characterized, according to which secondary infection and perichondritis are leading. As a result of clinical and experimental research, the peculiarities of changes in the microbiocenosis of the skin of the auricles were revealed. The ability of bacteria to form biofilms using foreign bodies in comparison with microorganisms of normoflora that did not form biofilms was determined. The expediency of using antiseptic drugs with the complexing agent disodium edetate in case of infectious complications and after surgery has been proved.
