Seliutin S. Innovation and investment development of the livestock industry in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases of innovative and investment development of branch of animal husbandry and development of scientific and applied recommendations on increase of its efficiency. Theoretical and methodological foundations of innovation and investment development of the livestock industry are developed in the dissertation. The content and functional characteristics of innovation and investment development are highlighted in the work and characterized by such development in the field of animal husbandry. Peculiarities of the state’s regulatory influence on the pace of innovation and investment activity of livestock entities have been revealed. The range of problems that accompany the provision of state support to livestock producers is outlined in the paper. A comprehensive assessment of the current state and trends in the livestock industry in Ukraine has been carried out. The determinants of innovation and investment activity of livestock entities have been identified. The importance of state regulation in this process is explained. The state of functioning of the livestock industry indicates the urgency of finding new markets, which is impossible without qualitative changes in production technologies.
