The dissertation deals with the musical language activity in the Partes style compositions of the second half of the 17th – first half of the 18th century; frequency musical language characteristics are used to solve such a problem as attribution of anonymous musical works and to characterize the Partes style at its various levels: from Partes style of the period and region to an individual composer’s style.
