Sokhikian H. Sokhikian Law as a source of criminal law of Ukraine.

The paper provides a comprehensive description of the types of sources of criminal law in Ukraine, pays attention to the law as a source of criminal law in Ukraine. All the criminal laws of Ukraine are analyzed and their classification is proposed by the circle of persons, by spatial basis, by temporal basis, by the degree of codification, by the subject of acceptance. The place of criminal laws in the system of legislative acts has been investigated. The content and form of the criminal law are studied. Attention is paid to the normative prescription, namely its structure, content and volume. The relationship between the normative prescription and the article of the criminal law is considered. In the context of the study of the form of the criminal law, the legislative technique is analyzed, used in criminal law. On the basis of the study, proposals were formulated for the systematization of criminal legislation by means of its recodification.
