Essay

At the beginning of experimental research, for the first time in Ukraine, a comprehensive assessment was made of the combinations of honey bees of the Vuchkivsky and Kolochavsky types and their initial forms. The morphological biological features, quantitative characteristics of honey productivity of intertype hybrids of Carpathian bees were studied. The theoretical value of the work is that the removal of inbred species on the basis of the developed method and the introduction of effective technology of reproduction of bee families allows to ensure the conservation and reproduction of the population of Carpathian bees. Based on the results of the comparative estimation of the Vuchkivsky and Kolochavsky types, data on their use, values and genetic resistance are expanded. Biometrically elaborated results of the hybrid bee honey harvest and their initial forms showed that both bees of the type Vuchkivsky and Kolochavsky had almost identical productivity since the difference was unreliable. The same applies to groups with hybrid bees, obtained from the mating of the moth type Kolochavsky with drones of the type Vuchkivsky. A group of families with reciprocal combination bees in the last year had a significantly higher productivity, which in our opinion, to some extent, is explained by better care conditions and honeycomb conditions, which contributed to a more complete manifestation of the heterosis effect. Thus, using the heterosis effect of Carpathian bees in our experiment made it possible to obtain more honey from 18.3 to 31.1% in relation to the original forms.Due to the mating of the wok-type moths with Kolchavsky drones, it is possible to obtain bees that are characterized by better indicators of adipocyte length by 16.99% and wax-glandular glands by 35.21%.
