Substantiation of parameters of the combined digger of root crops chicory. – Manuscript copyright. Thesis for the scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences. The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and experimental research of the process of grain material grinding in a small - sized hammer crusher of combined action, in which the working bodies are improved to reduce the specific energy consumption by intensifying the process of the grain material grinding. The small hammer crusher is equipped with hammers with variable width of the working area and additional plates working bodies in the form of a ring sector. Such a scheme gives an additional method of grinding in the jamming area between the side surface of the hammer and the plate. The mathematical model of the grain destruction process is developed taking into account the physical and mechanical properties and geometric characteristics of the contacting bodies. The physical and mechanical properties of wheat grain, in particular their geometric sizes, coefficient of sliding friction, deformation force and fracture work, and the influence of relative humidity on them have been experimentally studied. The optimal parameters and modes of operation of a small hammer crusher for grain material grinding are substantiated, which allowed meeting the requirements of standards and zootechnical requirements for the quality of the crushed product and reducing the specific energy consumption of the grinding process.
