The dissertation is devoted to the decision of a scientific problem of substantiation of theoretical-methodical and applied bases of formation and introduction of mechanisms, systems and tools of management of resource potential of subjects of agrarian business. The semantic analysis of numerical definitions of the concept of resource potential is carried out in the work. It is determined that the resource potential combines the actual and potential resources required for the enterprise to function properly. The main features of the researched concept for the subjects of agrarian business are highlighted. The author's understanding of the resource potential of agrarian business entities is offered. Scientific and theoretical bases of management of resource potential of the enterprise are considered. The components of the control and managed subsystems are considered. A mechanism for managing the resource potential of agribusiness entities, which combines instrumental, functional and methodological blocks, is proposed. The role of globalization as a key factor of the external environment is considered. The main contradictions in the development of agrarian business entities have been identified. Paradigmatic changes of the vector of economic development for agrarian business entities are substantiated. An improved structure of the external environment of agribusiness entities is proposed, with the separation of previous activities, focus company and subsequent activities. Determinants of the external environment of agribusiness entities have been identified: economic, political, international and technical. The methods of estimating the resource potential of agrarian business entities are generalized. A methodical approach to assessing the level of efficiency of the resource potential application of agribusiness entities is proposed based on the use of the method of taxonomic analysis in the calculation of integrated coefficients. The level of efficiency of resource potential application of agrarian business subjects is estimated. The level of elements application efficiency of resource potential in a product section is carried out by estimation of models of correlation-regressive dependences for a substantiation of a technological mode choice. The structural parameters of ensuring the efficient use of the resource potential of agribusiness entities are proposed. The effectiveness of the strategy of amalgamation and consolidation of agricultural production is proved based on increasing the length of domestic value chains by implementing the strategy of forming vertically integrated structures. The methodical approach of a strategy choice substantiation of resource potential management is offered on the basis of the defined criteria with use the hierarchies analysis method. The role of agroinnovation in ensuring the efficiency of using the resource potential of agricultural businesses is considered. Methodological support for the introduction of agroinnovations in the activities of agricultural businesses has been developed based on the project approach.
