This dissertation focuses on revealing the ways and means of actualization of the concept CONSENSUS in English-language publicistic discourse on the basis of the integrated methodology that combines linguistic, cognitive and communicative-pragmatic approaches. It has introduced the theoretical and methodological foundations for the research of the concept CONSENSUS. The parameters of the concept CONSENSUS in the linguistic, cognitive and communicative-pragmatic aspects have been represented. The peculiarities of actualization of the concept CONSENSUS in English-language publicistic discourse have been highlighted. The dissertation provides the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of lingual actualization of the concept CONSENSUS. It reveals a set of dominant communicative strategies and tactics of realization of concept CONSENSUS in English-language publicistic discourse.
