Matvienko A. State regulation of protection and use of agricultural lands.

The dissertation is devoted to the development of methodical provisions and practical proposals aimed at improving the state regulation of protection and use of agricultural lands. The theoretical basis for the development of state regulation of land relations in general and land use and protection in particular is revealed. According to the results of research, it is proposed to consider the state regulation of protection and use of agricultural land as a system of administrative, legal, economic and organizational levers. Their characteristics and impact on environmentally friendly land use are presented. The experience of European countries and the United States of America on land use and protection policy is considered. It was found that these states pay considerable attention to the preservation of agricultural land. The main instruments of state regulation are direct budget support for those agricultural producers who join the requirements of the Common Agrarian Policy (European Union) and Agrarian Agreements (USA). The current state of land use and protection in Ukraine is assessed. According to the research, it can be concluded that the ecological condition of the soils of our state is in a state of crisis and there is a tendency to deteriorate.
