The thesis is devoted to a comprehensive study of ensuring of security of the persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization. The genesis of theoretical knowledge and legislation on ensuring of security of the persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization is considered. The concept, goals and objectives of ensuring of security of persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization have been defined. The general and special rules for ensuring of security of the persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization have been researched. The procedure for making a decision on the application of security measures to persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization has been classified into: a) pre-trial; b) judicial. It is concluded that means of increasing the efficiency of ensuring of security of the persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization, are factors, thanks to the implementation of which it is possible to increase the effectiveness of ensuring of security of the persons carrying out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization.
