Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving the problem of increasing the durability of cultivator paws for pre-sowing tillage, researching the processes of wear of the blades of cultivator paws during operation with various methods of their harden-ing. The influence of the thickness of the cutting edge of the cultivator paws on the change in the resistance force of the cultivator was theoretically substantiated and it was found that an increase in the thickness of the cutting edge of the cultiva-tor paws from 0.5 mm to 4.0 mm leads to an increase in the resistance force of the cultivator by 29.6%. The obtained results of experimental studies on the influence of the modes of application of hardening coatings on the paws of cultivators by the method of technological convergence using powder materials, namely, with a discrete rein-forcement height of 0.5-1.0 mm, the rational values of the voltage on the arc will be 35-37 V, while the diameter discrete hardening is 18-19 mm. Operational tests of cultivator paws, hardened by the method of technological convergence, showed that with an operating time of 55 hectares, their average weight wear is 436 g, which is 40.3% less than serial paws. As a result of field tests, it was found that for 55 hectares, the radius of curvature of the cutting edge of cultivator paws with point hardening with PS-12NVK-01 powder material using a T-590 electrode is 0.9 mm and is 44% less than that of serial paws. The technological process of strengthening of cultivator paws at production and restoration which provides increase of resource indicators by 40,3% in com-parison with a resource of paws of serial production is developed and implement-ed. The annual economic effect from the use of the paws of the KVANT-12 cultivator, strengthened by the method of technological convergence, in the farm "Agroecology" of the Poltava region, with arable land area of 7360 hectares, is UAH 49762.7.
