Qualifying scientific work on the rights of the manuscript. Dissertation for a Candidate Degree in Psychological Sciences in specialty 19.00.05 – social psychology; psychology of social work. – Institute for Social and Political Psychology of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2021. The dissertation presents a theoretical generalization and offers a solution to the scientific problem of identifying psychological factors of an intolerant attitude of citizens to corruption. Intolerant attitude to corruption is manifested in the emotional and value insensitivity of the individual to corruption and attempts to involve it in corrupt practices, which forms its psychological potential (anti-corruption ability) for anti-corruption behaviour. Individual-psychological factors of intolerant attitude to corruption have been identified: self-governing level of development of self-identity of the individual, which is manifested in criticism in decision-making; a sublimation of paternalistic attitudes; reduction of self-totalitarianism; reduction of tolerance for immorality in business; strengthening the moral and ethical responsibility of the individual, reduction of ambivalence to corruption situations, increasing overall self-efficacy and anti-corruption capacity. Democratic organizational culture was also identified as a socio-psychological factor of the intolerant attitude of citizens to corruption. Key words: corrupt organizational culture, self-totalitarianism, anti-corruption act, anti-corruption capacity, radicalism on corruption.
