The dissertation deals with theoretical generalization and new solution of the scientific problem of improving international cooperation in the field of police training. The content of the concept of "international cooperation in the field of police education" has been formulated in the paper.T he concept of "administrative and legal status" was clarified and the circle of participants in the process of police training in Ukraine was determined. The opinion that the effectiveness of professional training of modern police officers depends on three elements is determined and substantiated: 1) recruitment; 2) training; 3) service activity.
