The historical review of ensuring the rights of individuals in criminal proceedings on the application of compulsory measures of a medical nature was conducted. A review of the status of ensuring the rights of the individual in criminal proceedings on the application of compulsory measures of a medical nature under foreign law has been carried out. The theoretical basis for ensuring the rights of the individual in criminal proceedings on the application of compulsory measures of a medical nature has been clarified. The standards of proof in criminal proceedings on the application of compulsory measures of a medical nature are described.
