The separate forensic methodology of pre-trial investigation of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance is developed in the thesis. Theoretical backgrounds for the formation of forensic characteristics of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extremeemotional disturbance are determined. The condition for intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance is established. Typical ways and traces of grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbanceare characterized. Emphasis is placed on the personality characteristics of the offender and the victim of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance. The features of the criminal proceeding’s beginning, the essence and the significance of the circumstances that have to be clarified during the investigation of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance are presented. The typical investigative situations of the initial stage of the investigation of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance and the corresponding algorithms for the investigator’s actions, and typical investigative situations of the following investigation stage are identified; the tactical operations and features of the sceneexamination during the investigation of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance are clarified. The features of the tactics of interrogating suspects and witnesses, the investigative experiment, and the appointment of forensic examinations during the investigation of intentional grievous bodily harm inflicted in a state of extreme emotional disturbance are highlighted.
