Essay

The dissertation describes the essence and content of the concept of «ensuring the diversification of natural gas supply in Ukraine»; analyzed the legal and regulatory support for economic efficiency of diversification of natural gas supply in Ukraine in the conditions of European integration; summarized and systematized the European and domestic experience of stimulating the diversification of natural gas supply in Ukraine; the tools for assessing the economic efficiency of diversification of natural gas supply to Ukraine have been improved. The methodological approaches to the operation of energy markets and theoretical studies of energy security and diversification of gas supplies are analyzed. The role and place of the gas transmission system through the mechanism of diversification of natural gas supply to Ukraine in the context of achieving a balanced energy system and ensuring energy security are studied. The prospects of gas supplies to Ukraine from the EU in the reverse direction, the impact of liquefied and compressed gas supplies on the natural gas market of Ukraine and the impact of domestic production on the natural gas market of Ukraine are assessed. The directions of improvement of organizational and economic maintenance of economic efficiency of diversification of natural gas supply in Ukraine are formed. The thesis analyzes methods of evaluating the effectiveness of projects in Ukraine supplying natural gas in liquefied state (LNG) and compressed state (CNG), namely: made monitoring routes and organizational-economic forms of project LNG supply to Ukraine; within the framework of the implementation of the given scientific task the qualitative and quantitative assessment of routes and organizational and legal forms of the LNG delivery project development, as well as the approach to the technical and legal aspects of LNG transportation by methane to Ukraine were improved; the cost of the process of creating a cost-effective infrastructure for the supply of liquefied gas to Ukraine was appreciated. It is proved that the results of the analysis of technical and economic conditions of CNG technology for transportation of natural gas indicate the technical and economic feasibility of practical application of this technology. The study developed a model for the diversification of the natural gas market, which, due to its adaptation to the EU natural gas market by taking into account the existing N-1 gas infrastructure standard in the EU, allows quantitative and qualitative assessment of the level of diversification of the EU natural gas market by its main aspects, so and the overall level of diversification of the EU natural gas market as a whole.
