The research’s aim is to conceptualize the ethnopsychological principles of the Polish musical mentality through the prism of their reflection in the violin concerto genre at the 20th century as a Polish culture holistic phenomenon. To this end, the ethnocharacteristic features of violin concerts by leading Polish composers of the 20th century are analyzed. It is in the genre models diversity and archetypal thinking dynamics.
