Lisunets L. E. K. Vorontsova: charitable and cultural and educational activities

The dissertation is devoted to the study of charitable and cultural and educational activities of E. K. Vorontsova. The proposed study gives a holistic view of the public activities of E. K. Vorontsova. The historiography of the problem is analyzed and the little-studied aspects of E. K. Vorontsova's activity are revealed. Peculiarities of E. K. Vorontsova's public activity depending on gender inequality of society, possibilities of social self-realization of women and social and political processes are revealed; the main directions and methods of public activity of E. K. Vorontsova are determined. On the basis of a variety of archival and published sources, E. K. Vorontsova's personal contribution to the process of organization and formation of the women's charity movement in the Kherson, Bessarabian, Taurian provinces and the Caucasus Governorate was determined, and the total amount of donations was calculated.
