Essay

The dissertation provides clinical and pathogenetic criteria for early diagnosis of a complicated course of mitral valve prolapse with type I diabetes mellitus by studying the levels of the fibroblast growth factor-2, free and peptide-bound oxyproline, the total content of sulfated glycosoaminoglycans and their fractions according to structural and functional features of the valve apparatus of the heart and myocardium of the left ventricle. The prevalence of mitral valve prolapse and phenotypic signs of external manifestations of connective tissue displasia among the student population and the presence of mitral valve prolapse were established depending on the nature of connective tissue displasia signs and anthropological characteristics. A prognostic mathematical model has been developed for the complicated course of comorbid pathology, depending on the level of regulation of fibrillogenesis, the nature of collagen metabolism, the basic substance of connective tissue and echocardiography of indices of early left ventricular remodeling.
